The Makita® 18V LXT® Brushless Cordless Drywall Sander (XLS01ZX1) offers drywall finishers enhanced efficiency and mobility. With its compact and lightweight design, the XLS01 is easier to use for extended periods. It provides up to 35 minutes of runtime with an 18V 5.0Ah battery (sold separately). Users can adjust the speed with a variable speed control dial (1,000 - 1,800 RPM), while Constant Speed Control automatically boosts power to maintain consistency under load.

Featuring a round brush design, the XLS01ZX1 ensures efficient dust extraction and minimal leakage. The highly flexible head allows for increased maneuverability across different wall orientations. The direct-drive BL™ Brushless Motor eliminates carbon brushes, running cooler and more efficiently for longer lifespan.

The adjustable extension pipe collapses for sanding in tight spaces and extends up to 16-1/2” for reaching high walls and ceilings. The removable dust brush enables seamless sanding in corners. Additionally, the tool is equipped with Auto-Start Wireless System technology (AWS®) for improved efficiency. AWS uses Bluetooth® technology to wirelessly communicate with a dust extractor (sold separately), activating it when the tool is engaged and shutting it down when released.
