The BOSCH GET75-6 Dual-Mode Random Orbit Sander is designed ergonomically with a 6-inch sanding surface, offering both a standard random-orbit mode and a direct-drive, eccentric-orbit turbo mode for aggressive stock removal. In turbo mode, this sander can deliver 3 times the removal rate of standard random-orbit action. The sander features a tapered top handgrip with a soft-grip design and includes an auxiliary handle that can be mounted on either side for exceptional control.

The enhanced multi-hole pad system of the sander is compatible with a wide range of abrasive discs, allowing for versatility in sanding applications. The random-orbit action of the sander combines both orbital and rotational movements to provide a smooth and well-blended surface finish. Additionally, the tool is equipped with an integral pad-dampening braking system to prevent swirl marks, as well as a soft microcellular hook-and-loop backing pad.

Constructed with a die-cast aluminum gear housing and a dual-bearing pad mount, the sander helps reduce vibration during operation. It also features an enhanced dust-collection system that works efficiently with a vacuum cleaner and hose. The large channels in the pads make it easy for debris to be extracted through the vacuum port.

The dual-mode functionality of the sander offers two sanding modes: a random orbit mode for standard stock removal or fine finishing, and a "turbo" driven eccentric orbit mode for aggressive stock removal at a rate 5 times faster than the normal random orbit sanding mode. The powerful 7.5 amp variable speed motor of the GET75-6N provides flexibility and control for various sanding applications, with a speed range of 290 to 640 RPM and an orbit speed range of 3300 to 7300 OPM.

The sander is designed for ease of use, allowing for fast and smooth finishes on different surfaces. It also comes with a passive dust collection system that requires a vacuum cleaner and hoses, accepting Bosch VAC001, VAC009, and VAC010 hoses, as well as a Bosch VAC002 hose adapter. The orbital sander package includes a soft backing pad, a hex pad wrench, a sanding disc, a removable front handle, and two vacuum hose adapters, making it ideal for a variety of sanding jobs including wood floors, furniture finishing, and polishing applications. Turbo mode provides direct-drive rotation for 3 times the stock removal of standard random-orbit mode, offering an alternative to a belt sander. The multi-hole pad system adds flexibility, allowing the tool to use a wide range of abrasive discs.
